Uncle Bill strings the top neck BEAD. The bottom neck is EADG.

I think they're actually headphones - maybe he's listening to a click? But it does look pretty odd - like something you'd see a homeless dude wearing while he mutters angrily about government conspiracies. Surely they can afford iem's.

I hope they come close to here, too. And i hope they can get along with each other 'tip then.

Paul Gilbert has some hearing issues and is trying to salvage what's left. Those sound-filtering headphones are for hearing protection.

And yes, if you ever get a chance to see Billy and Paul together live, don't miss it. Or Billy and Steve Vai.

I found that kinda boring compared to some of their tandem solos from Mr Big back in the day...

This sounds cool. Nothing like the shredding they used to do, but they don't have to prove how good they really are. This was musical and interesting. Also very funny when they got some help.

Now I want that bass... just in a different color.

Sounds really good. I didn't know Paul was having hearing issues. I hope that he hasn't completely "lost" anything. He plays great. Not to mention Billy's fantastic chops!
