First let me start out by stating I was never a Poison fan. However I was channel surfing and came accross Poison Raw and Uncut on VH1c the other night. Now a couple of decades later I can see why these guys were so popular. I think back in the day I couldn't see past the ridiculous look they had, you know the whole tranny thing going on. It was not only that people liked, their songs were pretty damn catchy.

Now to Bobby Dall. I thought he did an excellent job of filling things out considering that Poison is basically a trio with a lead vocalist. Well OK Michaels plays guitar occasionally but only on the slower stuff.

Gotta say that Dalls bassline on "Unskinny Bob" is nothing but pure genious. I don't think anyone could play the eigth notes as well as he does. And tone to die for.

Bobby is certainly capable...especially with all the running around those guys do. When I saw them, they had a guy playing keys and singing backups, so that filled some gaps, too.

Most of these bands were way underrated - the were flamed for the look .. most of them were really coo.
