Bonnie Raitt's bassist on Lifetime last night..

Sign in to disble this ad
I caught B.R. on Lifetime's "Women of Rock"...or something like that, last night.

During angel of montgomery, with dolly parton & allison krause, he used this freltess acoustic/elec that looked like a normal acoustic guitar, minus the sound hole. This bass had the most amazing mmwwaahh I've ever heard!

Anyone have any idea what kind of bass this is, or who the bassist is, probably Hutch Hutchinson...

I could be wrong, but I think it's a Washburn bass (provided it actually was Hutch Hutchinson). @ jongor

By the way, is Bonnie Raitt's drummer Ricky Fataar the same guy who played George Harrison's equivalent in the Monty Python movie "The Rutles"?

During that time Eric Idle asked me to appearing the TV show The Rutles, All You Need is Cash. I played Stig O'Hara (the quiet one).

Cool! Thanks for the info and the link, Treena! Interesting that Mr. Fataar once worked together with NZ's Tim Finn and also his younger brother Neill's band, Crowded House!

Hello Marty! *waves*
