Bit of triva Gormans Wal bass was supposed to of originally been given to Paul Simonon of the Clash by Sandy Pearlman (producer) whilst they recorded the Give them enough rope LP. Paul supposedly didn't like it because it had too many control options, knobs and buttons and went back to his Fender P. The Wal was then passed onto Gorman, so the story goes....
