Bowing a fretless electric?

Can anyone tell me if you can bow an electric fretless bass. I pulled the frets off my Ibanez and like it, but wondered if it would sound ok to bow it like a standup.

not unlessu buy an EUB with a radically radiused fretboard that mimics an upright bass.
