Boz Burell

Just heard about the passing of Boz Burrell. Someone once posted' Don't let 'em know it's a fretless unless you want them to know". Boz's playing was the perfect example of this.

I've been running all these old songs through my head and I don't hear a wasted note anywhere. We all can appreciate the economy in his lines. This seems like a lost art these days. Boz had a very well developed 'edit' muscle and he used it. RIP Boz-a truly unique player.
