Boz Burrell; I wanna know about this guy!

Saw a tab for Feel Like Making Love in Guitar World, pulled out 10 From 6 (Bad Company's Greatest Hits) and really am into this guy's playing. A great vocabulary, yet I don't feel he overplays at all. Most known for Bad Company, King Crimson and I think I read Mott The Hoople?

Songs I suggest:
Feel Like Making Love (fretless on a rock tune)
Ready For Love (Great fills on a slower ballad)

Gear from what I've read:
Ampeg Fretless w/ added P-bass pickup
Fender Jazz and Precisions
Early Stingrays

Later Bad Company Reunion
Lakland

A quote I read of Paul Rodgers on Boz:
Paul: They broke the mold when they made Boz. He was a unique person. He loved touring and all of that. But I think, in many respects, Boz regarded himself as sort of a jazz musician and really that’s where he wanted to be at, so we were kind of lucky to have him because he added such a great musicality to what we were doing. And I think in the end, that’s where he went off to do. The last I heard of him, before he sadly passed, was that he was playing jazz and having a great time.

----
Any info/pictures of his gear, playing or recordings would be great to check out. There is an older thread here, but it goes south and I'd like to keep this one positive and on topic of Boz.

For me, the most remarkable thing about Boz and his career is that he started out as a vocalist. He was recruited by King Crimson to replace bassist/vocalist Gordon Haskell, initially just for the vocal role, but after two successive bass playing prospects fell through (including John Wetton, who would come back to take the job a year or so later), Robert Fripp decided it would be easier to teach Boz to play bass than to find another bassist for the 1971 King Crimson tour! Yes, that's Boz on "Islands" and "Earthbound".

A great under-rated player, an iconoclast and by all accounts, a gentleman.

He used a Fender Jazz in King Crimson and during the 1972 dates or so had an added pickup at the neck (a Gibson EB perhaps?). Hiwatt amp.

A great singer too. A very recommended King Crimson release is "Live At The Summit Studios 1972" which is part of the Collector's Club releases. Some great performances and a top sound quality.

Looks to be EBO sized. Thanks I'll checkout the Summit Studios stuff.
