Then you step back and proceed to experience a public prostate exam for the rest of the night...
Awesome groove - at ten years old I was still trying to figure which Teenage Ninja Turtle I was gonna take to the sandpit that day.....

EDIT: Here he is with the man himself, Marcus Miller.

BTW, as a former Fender Jazz Deluxe owner, the tone that Brandon gets out of it is further proof that active Fenders are fine basses.

I emailed him since he lived in Michigan and we are both huge MM fans and he replied back with a sincere positive attitude. This kid is going places for sure.

They have exposed him to lots of music, they have taken him to trade shows, and have bought him excellent gear.
That said, Brandon is a very good player. I don't think he is a genius, but he is a very young child, and he might just find a really brilliant and unique voice on the bass if he keeps playing.
Frankly, I could see him continuing and being an excellent bassist by the time he is in his teens, but I could imagine that he might want to get into other things as he matures.
Either way, I think he will be fine with such a supportive family.

I came down to see this six or seven year old kid playing Continuum. We had a nice conversation about basses and music. Quite an afternoon!
