Brazilian GIrls and Jesse Murphy

I wonder if there are any Brazilian Girls fans out there, yes the band.

Their bassist Jesse Murphy is a very versatile player. I've done some research about him and he seemed to have played in some jazz bands back in the day. If anyone needs some clips to hear his playing, I'll be more than happy to show some links

I actually saw Jesse play with John Scofield in 1999 or so (a free open air show too).

Jesse Murphy is ****ing SCARY. I saw him on a gig literally 3 days after he moved to NYC (straight ahead jazz); he was the first cat I heard that played with a mic instead of a pickup and gut strings. It was a real surprise to hear him some years later playing electric bass in a funk band.
