Question Bruce Thomas P Bass Color

Sign in to disble this ad
Does anyone know what finish Bruce Thomas' 1963 P Bass that he used in the Attractions was? I can't tell if it was Fiesta Red or some custom color - it almost looks pink in the vintage video clips I've seen.

Yeah, it's like a salmon pink or something. By the way, the Attractiosn refer to tehir early albums as 2 or 3 throw albums- based on how many times Bruce threw that bass at Elvis while making the album. I know those two hate each other, but neither of them is as good without the other.

It was definetly Salmon Pink. I was a great fan around that time and wanted one so badly.

Thanks for the responses - i'll know I'll show my ignorance of Fender history, but is Salmon Pink a stock, original color?

Thanks
