Very cool! I'm always so impressed with a guy like Marcus, who is just a monster, but seemed to go out of his way to make sure the other bassist was relaxed and having fun and sounding good. That's just awesome...

I think that's largely confidence in what he does and who he is. He's a nice guy to simply hang out with. I've seen far more ego from cats who have far less reason to display it.

MM is playing some killin lines there. He doesn't just sound like a bass player but a musician actually phrasing. I've never heard him just enjoy a blues like that, LOVE it!
