Caught Sam Bush last night at the local theater. Great show; bluegrass to jazz to rock and psychedelia...they cover it all. Every guy in the band is a monster. Jam band music with fantastic songs and showmanship.
His bass player is Byron House. Big chops and very tasty musician on fretless, 5 string MIM fretted (I believe) and electic upright. I'd never heard of him, but there's a lot to learn from this guy. I had excellent seats, and I felt like I had a two fer...great music nd show, and a nice bass workshop as well. |
