Oh so what is he doing? Trying to get attention?

SF is a weird place... some bizarre bands come from there.

I am scared.

The Bay Area remains a singularly unique place in California where individualism and self expression are encouraged and rewarded by the local denizens.

A couple of years back, I was at a posh hotel in downtown San Francisco selling consulting services to bankers and stepped outside to catch some salt air. Up from the underground comes a 30 something playing a mouth harp to beat the band. He plays it right up to the steps of an office building before slapping out the spit and slipping it into his laptop bag over his shoulder on entering the building. You've never see or hear that in Los Angeles. That's the barbary coast for ya.

I work in the Barbary Coast and must say it is wonderful place. The open mindedness of the people here is a just a great thing to be surrounded by.
