I live in Grande Prairie, Alberta. It's kind of a metal/punk scene here, with a small indie thing poking up here and there. Gotta say, it's kinda hard to find guys committed to the groove and not the speed in this town.

Any other Canucks out there? What's the story on your city/town?

Another Canuck here, not the rioting type though. P.A, Saskatchewan. It's almost all death metal, country or blues here. Really hard to a band, took me almost a year and a half.

Moose Jaw, SK here.

It's pretty much only country music over here, which is not our band's style. We play blues / rock / southern rock. It's taking a while, but we are getting recognized more slooooowly.

We're not in it for the money, of course money is nice to have though :-) , and we're having a blast.

Ottawa.

Pretty diverse scene, and lots of good bands, but people in Ottawa dont really support local bands or the small clubs. It is very hard to get people to go to shows. The only thing that seems to sell here is watered down blues.

Technically not a Canuck meself, I'm Mexican, but I will soon have my PR and, in a few years, my citizenship. I've been living in Canada for the past 4 years now.

Could I still be a member?

Oh, and I'm pretty new to the Ottawa scene (or any music scene for that matter), so I'll have to get back to you in a few years once I'm more seasoned.
