can't wait for this album to become available! while Manring and DiPiazza are certainly wonderful players, I think people are going to be floored by Yves' artistry and passion on the sub bass!

from the lows,

Stew

Big bump - I really want to hear this - these guys are bass monsters - i.e. just plain scary!

We need some teaser clips!

Hearing Dominique on Que Alegria changed my life and how I approach my instrument. Thank you Dominique and I can't wait to hear this album. Each of these players has some great things to offer.

Beautiful piece they're playing.

Take a listen to Dominique when he's playing the melody. That kind of passion is so rare. You can hear who he is come through his playing. So moving. Thanks so much for the clip Dave, as well as the link to the video you sent me. It was very instructive.

Yeah it's an awesome record. No wankfest, just beautiful, intricate music.

If you've left your details with Philippe, you should hear something soon. I emailed him last week for an update and he told me that the CDs were due back from the pressing plant in ten days.

Mmmmmm, delicious ear candy.

There's a thread in Manring's forum concerning this trio CD. Someone is supposed to give us a heads up when it hits U.S. shores.

OMG! I think my head is about to explode! That is the greatest solo bass performance I have ever seen, period.

Yves,
That video looks very professional. Why was it made? Is the trio CD going to include video footage or is Dominique doing it for (fingers crossed) an instructional project?
