Please reach out and friend request Carol Kaye on Facebook. She very recently joined.

Carol has been discussing her current situation there, which for her I know was difficult. She recently lost her home to foreclosure because the royalties and small pensions she has could not keep up with her mortgage payments. She does NOT live high on the hog, but lives in CA where you need a ton more cash to live then, say, Osh Kosh. And her limited bass playing career requires her to still be near the city of angels, so she was stuck.

Carol will talk to anyone, and inspired me and many others with her basslines to become bass players. Sting himself said he was self taught by buying all of the Carol Kaye books he could find when he was young and learning them.

Lets keep Carol in our thoughts, and keep being her support in these current times. Carol has a great attitude, and will be going back to nearly full time work to get back to where she needs to be. No reason we can't be there for her while she does.
