I caught Roscoe Beck with his new band tonight at a great outdoor venue. Seems like nowhere but Austin can you listen to musicians of this caliber for free!
Roscoe was on his signature instruments, both 4 and 5. He was doing everything from funk to blues to jazz, playing skip-string notes and chords. Muy delicioso!
I got to talk to him for a few minutes and we took our photo together. How sweet! I even met Dan Rather tonight. His daughter is married to the guitarist in Roscoe's band... |
