So does anyone know anything about the Bass Player in Bill Chase's band CHASE? I did a wikipedia search but al I came up with was a name (Dennis Johnson).. but there's no wiki on him and I can't find anything else he may have been a part of.

He didn't die with Bill Chase and I'm just wondering what else he's worked on...

BTW... His playing is freaking awesome

My favorite tune has to be "Open up Wide"... obviously "Get it On" is up there too though... gotta say the first album is my favorite. I recently got copies of the entire library including Tribute

Wow, I never thought Chase would come up here, next we'll be talking about The Flock.

I don't know how accurate this is... http://allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg...jfyxq95ldte~T4

Coming from Chicago, I was going to say that the whole rhythm section from Chase (Dennis Johnson and Gary Smith) went on to Survivor. Dennis actually showed up at one of our gigs, and he sat in for a couple songs. I finally got to hear what my bass and amp sounded like!

Gweim-
I never knew that...I did know that Jim Peterik (Survivor's co-founder) came from the Ides Of March...best known for their BS&T-influenced tune, "Vehicle".
No wonder, then, why he dug the guys from Chase.
