Want to throw in a plug for a bassist in New Orleans, Paul Boudreaux, All Purpose Blues Band. If you are in the Crescent City check them out. All four members born and raised in New Orleans, weathered the storm and back on Bourbon Street working again.

They have been playing at Sing Sing from 10pm until 3 am (Monday thru Thursday). Not sure of the weekend schedule although I think it is an earlier gig. Before the storm they played at Club 544. That club is going through a major face lift so they may return upon its opening. If you like the blues, they do the classics very well with some original's thrown in also.

Paul is a master of the Spector Euro 4 string and lays down some vocals that are really smooth. He does some Ray Charles tunes that will make a grown man cry.

Check 'em out.
