I'm just wondering have any of you of this band called Kasabian. They're not very well known over in the States I don't think but they are huge over in the UK. Anyway they have a pretty unknown and underrated (in my opinion) bass player called Chris Edwards. His basslines are simple yet so effective.

These are good examples of his bass playing

I saw these guys play in Baltimore at the first year of the Virgin Fest. Not bad. Stylistically, they are kinda all over the place though.

Wait, kasabian aren't big in the us?
They are one of the BIGGEST bands in the UK at the moment.
And agree!

Saw them three years ago when they played in Madrid with The Killers and Smashing Pumpkins. Great show! I had just started playing bass and really liked their bassist's tone.
