Chris Squire - Live in NYC 2/13/2010

I just saw Chris Squire performing with Yes at Town Hall in New York City and he was absolutely amazing! Of course I'm bass-obsessed, but he really seemed like the focal point of the band.

In a couple of numbers Chris just owned the stage - "Heart of the Sunrise" was practically a concerto for bass. And in "Starship Trooper", which is an amazing feature for Steve Howe, he still managed to command attention and be innovative while always supporting the music.

I've been going to Yes concerts since 1975, but this one was really special for me. I'm just so excited and inspired that I wanted to post some kudos for Chris and the current line-up of Yes.

Thanks.

Chris is the reason why I play the bass.
