Hi guys and Yes/ Squire fans. As you know Yes came a week ago with a new album called "Fly From Here"
Personally, I love it! Chris playing and tone is great, and his singing is impressive specially considering age etc.
Anybody else heard this album? Thoughts about the album? what basses he used through the album, amps? Effects? Which coffee he drank?

| | | | the album was only just released in the states today,so i have not heard much except a few short clips, all of which had a definite Buggles stamp to it. (not that there's anything wrong with that.) from what i heard of the vocals,Chris and Benoit sound great together, not particularly a surprise either, from seeing them in concert. i would imagine that with Geoff's approach and Trevor's production, this is going to be a clean, modern sounding Yes,which is fine by me. |

Here, enjoy a pic of my lefty 4001CS!

That said, if I start to hear good things about the new album from Yes fans, I am inclined to check it out, so I am at least curious to hear what people think.

| | | | To clean and perfect for me. I thought it sounded like a Windam Hill album.
