Chris Squire Stumped???

So is Chris Squire sitting this one out because he's stumped or because he's too cool to join in with such silliness?

A friend and I just saw them on their last tour and he said to me at one point, "Doesn't Chris Squire look like a lunch lady?"

So from this point on, he is pretty much only referred to as the lunch lady.

I guess there's no way for me to add "Lunch Lady" as a fourth poll option, huh?

I voted "stumped."

If you want to cry, compare these two versions of Roundabout:

I know, that's what I was looking at when I stumbled on the sound check video.

Unlike some of the other original Yes members, Squire always struck me as a very specialized player -- like Geddy Lee. He sounds great in his element, playing his written progressive rock lines, but he is not someone who could easily cross over to other styles or who could keep up in an impromptu jam.

I am likely wrong... do you know when the acoustic concert happened?

Edit: that clip was posted on you tube about 1 year ago.

DVD was released (released) in 2004.Recording of it was possibly in 2003.

Edit: Here is the 2009 lineup of "Yes". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3PO8MtlM9Q Wakeman Jr. on keys ,Benoit David (Yes tribute band singer) on vocals.

I'm fairly sure he could have hung with that jam, but without those fingersnaps keeping those hacks from rushing, the whole thing would have fallen apart. Chris is a seasoned pro.
