Clarke and Wooten! Tonight in OKC!

Going to see Stan the man and Victor tonight in OKC! I'm more than a little pumped over this! I had tickets to see Stanley waaaaaaay back in 1974, and then booking conflicts kept me from being able to go to the show. Over the next 3 weeks I was playing throughout Texas and Stan wound up being booked in almost every town I was playing in, but never on a night when I wasn't booked of course!

Now, almost 40 years later, I FINALLY get to see the man live and in the flesh! If anyone else is going to be at the show, stop by and say hi. I'll be in row C, seat 1, GREAT seats! Heading out now for the 2 hour drive. WooOOOoooOOOt!!!!

That's not Stanley. It's Victor's brother Reggie playing guitar. Stanley played after Victor. But yeah, Stanley is a very tall guy, and his Alembics did look quite miniscule while he was holding them.

Great show last night, Stan and Vic both sounded great. There were a few problems with Stans band though. More on that and some pics after i get in from work today.
