Can you imagine how good Cliff would have sounded with better producing? I find his basslines to be so much more interesting than most metal players today (almost lead-like, but not too much) and if he could have continued on I imagine Cliff's brilliance would have shown as Metallica became bigger and more 'important' in the metal community. We can only imagine what a Cliff Burton solo-record/cd would have sounded like, with his many influences..... :-(
