It was mentioned in the new Bass Player magazine so I checked Amazon and it's available.

JUST GOT IT, it's really great so far, very detailed about his persona and even how he progressed as a bass player. I'm gonna post a review as soon as I'm done!

I started reading it at BAM one time and got about a 100 pages in. Awesome till about that point. I stopped reading because i was hungry and left for food, but towards the end of what i read it simply became pretty much what everyone knows about metallica. Still want to finish it though.

I'll definitely have to check when it comes in here in Australia. A must-read for me.

I bought a copy off ebay. I'm almost finished with it. I got to say, this is one great book. It really makes me want to play some old Metallica. It talks about Cliff's gear, and it talks about his young ages playing bass. It's an awesome book. I highly reccomend it.

Just finished the book, I gotta say... I'm listening to Ride and Puppets in a completely different way now. I never realized how magic it really was. I cant believe he died! I laughed my ass off at the point where he ate 2g of weed and was stoned for 3 days straight!!!

A genuine humble guy he must have been. Wow!

I have a copy , its terrible, its just a book that praises everything about cliff , his playing , his technique, his equipment choices, his girlfriend , his parents.

it just tells everyone how awesome the author thinks he is.
