I'm in Calgary.
I play a Warwick ThumbNT5, and a Squier VM Jazz. Very different basses, but I like them both a lot, and each has their place in my different gigs and projects. |

I'm really looking forward to getting started! |

Where did you get that case, buddy? I need one for my P-bass and that is pretty similar to what I want.

I have a few basses in my collection (listed in my profile) but I'm not playing with anyone at the moment. I tried jamming with people for awhile via local CL postings but nothing really materialized or clicked, so I sort of gave up at the time. I'm still playing my instruments at home for my own enjoyment.
Musically-speaking, if I'm not playing with others, does that mean I'm playing with myself? (MODs, if this self-directed joke is too racy, pls advise & I'll delete it.)

My grandfather came to the U.S from Quebec. I spent much of my life playing ice hockey at the pro-am level and competing in tournaments in Canada and the U.S. Canada is one of my favorite countries and I still make it a point to get to Toronto and Montreal every year to watch hockey games. Can I be an honorary member?

It'll take some saving, but I'm gonna try my best to make it happen this year.
