Club Groove NYC/ Li'nard????

Sign in to disble this ad
I was in New York last summer and went to a club called "Club Groove" in the villiage I believe, and there was this great bad playing called "The Many Moods of Li'nard". The bass player's name is Li'nard I believe and he fronts the band as well. I was pretty impressed. They were great players and really personable and loaded with showmanship as well. I was curios if anybody on here had seen them as well???

LOL! He's a friend of mine from waaay back! He's been there for about 7 years! He's originaly from Baltimore, and he's an incredible player. I'm glad someone else knows now! Last time I saw him, he was playing an Aslin Dane 5 string.

Thanks bro, I was most impressed with not only the playing but the showmanship as well, I was thinking about making a trip back just to see them. What kind of bass does he play, do you know?

He has a Warwick Corvette 5 and the bass you probably saw him with is an Aslin Dane 5. If it was a natural colored one, then it was the Aslin Dane.

I could have sworn that he was playing a 4. Does he mainly play 5 or switch up??

He may now. I've known him for about 8 years, and he's always played a 5, but he probably does have a 4 now.
