coheed and cambria

Ok, so i saw coheed and cambria, between the buried and me, and russian circles at the house of blues in boston last friday. The level of musicianship and showmanship, showmanship especially for coheed, was incredible. I also discovered a fun fact for myself. Brian Cook, bassist for russian circles, was in another of my favorite but now defunct bands, these arms are snakes, with Ben Verrellen, of Verrellen Amplifiers! I never made the connection. Although my tastes have drifted away from these bands in the past few years, im glad i saw them and it made me remember why i liked these bands in the first place. coheeds new bass man, Zach Cooper was exceptional, and Dan Briggs of btbam and brian cook of russian circles know there stuff to a t.
