Thumbs up Congrats to Tim Marks - Taylor Swift bassist

Sign in to disble this ad
Taylor Swift's album "Fearless" won Grammys tonight for Album of the Year and Best Country Album.

Bass player on that album was fellow TB'er Tim Marks. Please join me in congratulating Tim.

Well Done!!!!!!!!!!

Seize the moment Tim, apply yourself and stay grounded. What a pleasure to have you in the ranks. You are now C/W royalty. Please let us know about your equipment choices as I am a C/W bassist also.

Congrats Tim!! Well Done! Ped '07 -Not that I really call T.S.- C & W music,,,,, Most "C&W" U hear on radio is Pure Nashville sounding POP. To me- anyway- real country -on the charts- stopped in the 70's. But Thats MY opinion & take NOTHING away from T.S. or especially Tim Marks- More success to him. & yeah like Pedulla '07 I'd like to know Ur gear set up too...????

Thanks guys--I appreciate it.

As far as gear goes...on the "Fearless" record it's a Lakland USA JO on about half of it. I also used some other Laklands: BG, JO and BG w/flats and a 55-94.....also a Jerry Jones longhorn.

Congratulations, Tim. I always knew you'd make it big.

Tim, this is Mr. J, your old high school principal, and the guy who forced you to listen to at least a million different songs during lunch. (I'd like to think that I introduced you to Bootsy and the notion of playing on the one.) Anyway, congratulations to you and best wishes for continued success. True talent and genuine character will always find success.
