Nope, he looks just wrong.

If you look at the Satriani stage, you have Satriani himself, cool glasses, black leather etc..and all of the sudden a fat bloke in a hawaian shirt, sandals, shorts and a sparkly red bass shows up...

The coolest thing about most of the pictures in this thread is how those guys can even play with their basses strung that low.
