Some of you nailed it and some of you really need

Im very happy someone mentioned Cliff Burton, Greezer Butler, John entwistle, Les Claypool, Tony Levin, Berry Okeley, and Bootsy Collins For got to mention Paz any woman who can play bass and look that hot has a place in my heart

But im kind of upset no one mentioned Allen Woody, But i guess it's my job to mention him

That man was the coolest cat of all!

. how can mccartney look like an old lady when he barely looked 20 when he first came to the us? and besides, unlike most bassists on this list, HE CUTS HIS HAIR.

IMO: This needs to turn into a Stu Zender Vs. Lemmy thread... because thus far, those have been the coolest. I'm voting for Lemmy because he's my kind of cool... the unshaven cool.

But see, I don't think that I'm better than you, I happen to very well know it. Therefore you also believe that Flea is not cool and is not a very good bassist to boot. There , now don't you feel better. BTW I spell Jerk with a capital J.

I know Tom Waits isn't a bass player but I just think he is the coolest man alive

And to keep this bass centered I'll add Tom Araya to the list. You just can't beat Slayer!
