I'm the treasurer of the board of an NPO. Our executive director went to New York City recently and while there she went to The Blue Note to see Bob James with Four Play. She got to talk to the musicians, and Nathan said "I'm going to give this to the prettiest girl here" and handed her daughter a pick.
Gail gave me the pick last night because she knows I'm a bass player and that East is one of my favorite models. OK, I've never seen Nathan play with a pick, though I'm sure it's part of his arsenal for studio work, but it's a cool souvenir.
