When I was growing up I listened to these guys, you might find them to be totally nuts, but I love it . Now that I have been playing bass for a while I came back and relistened to some of their stuff, great bass lines,... I think.
I also love combination of bass, sax, acoustic guitar and drums. You can really hear bass well.
