Wow ....Some wonderful melodic phrasing, with this unknown chap on youtube.......great playing and very mature understanding of theory.
A mix up of a Jaco sounding Metheny phrasing, M-Brecker note playing Bass player. Check it out ...

Um... yeah!

Wow. That's refreshing! Very nice and tasteful playing, good use of legato phrasing, and all with no slap or tap? Pretty cool.

Not that slap or tap aren't a lot of fun, but it's cool to see a cat just getting down fingerstyle.

Check some of his other vids - very interesting right hand technique.

i really like that--his tone left a touch to be desired for me (it sounded kinda dead to me) but the playing was great!

I definitely hear some Metheney there. The ought to be getting some big time gigs if he isn't already. He has some personality in his playing.
