Saw the Stones "Shine a Light" last night.
Great show and amazing how these 65+ year olds can still groove. I'm only a couple of years younger and played bass in a band during the mid to late 60's at the same time as the early Stones... more blues orientated style back then.
Have to say that Darryl Jones (along with Charlie) were the foundation and the glue that held it together. He's always there SOLID in the background and although the the boy's (Kieth, and Ronnie) are great guitars they can tend to get a little out of control at times. Just another example of the importance that bass play's!

Noticed that Darryl isn't really included as part of the group since he took over from Bill Wyman.
All in all... it was a great show.
