Great stuff, thanks, I'd never thought to check out this era of Miles stuff online. I really prefer this kind of playing, be it slap or fingerstyle, in fusion to the 20 billion jacofarts/second and upper register new school of playing. I forgot how much I like Marcus on Fat Time too...and as a random aside, that song has the greatest solo Mike Stern has ever taken. I wish he'd shred it up like that more often. Anyway, thanks again.

Check out Darryl's playing on the John Scofield album Still Warm. That guy could definitely play.
