Yo, How come no one on here talks about this bass giant? Anyone who plays Punk,Hardcore, or even reggae for that matter, owes this man a serious debt of gratitude.

Not many people are into punk around here and, fair enough, there aren't that many spectacular bassists in punk and hardcore (which is kind of the whole point...) But Daryl is the man, I against I is still, in my opinion, one of the heaviest records out there. Period.

I love Daryl. +1 on I Against I. I saw him play on the tour for Rise (I know, no HR or Earl) but his Reggae lines especially grabbed me. SO DEEP! On the hardcore stuff, his right hand was just a blur.

I think Bad Brains and Daryl are huge influence on a lot of musicians, they just never really got to put their mark on the general public in a bigger way. Like Living Colour they where so many levels above most bands in their respective genre of music.
