Dave LaRue - pics!

Saw Dave with his band "Stretch" Wednesday night in Bronxville, NY. Maybe 30 people in the crowd - put on a great show, sounded fantastic. I know this question is posed often, but after a performance like this is it time to practice or realize there aren't enough hours in the day to reach anything close to his level? Spoke to him after the show and he told me that he will be touring with the Steve Morse Band in the fall

I took about 150 pictures that night - trying all different setttings, etc. Most of them were terrible including the one I took of Dave's board - in hindsight I should of just asked but I felt funny (like it was a trade secret or something) I don't have a board myself...anyway the one I did take didn't come out...sorry!

I see a Keeley-modded TS but that's all I can recognize with any certainty.

One of the most versatile players out there and among my favs for sure.

I was listening to Steve Morse`s "Major Impact" yesterday and he plays an amazing solo during a country-like tune (can`t remember the name right now).

Thanks for sharing.

Dave LaRue freaking rocks.

He talked with us for a long time after a Dregs / Steve Morse band show in Covington, KY a few years back.

BTW: He does a killer solo on the live Planet X "Live in Oz" CD.

Dave LaRue rocks.

Great pictures !!

Also glad to hear that The Steve Morse Band will be touring soon. I have seen them many times and I think that Steve has the most melodic solo's of any guitarist.

I have been thinking about getting a Bongo and it does look very cool; expecially in the hands of monster bass player.

Separately, I highly recommend you check out the Travis Larson Band. They sound a lot like The Steve Morse Band (except the solo's, then you can tell). But they are an extremely tight 3 piece instrumental band - with a cute female bass player !!

Also, who played guitar with Dave at the concert?

That's my bud! Used to take bass lessons from him. Great guy, wonderful player, can do absolutely no wrong as far as I'm concerned!
