Hes from St. Louis. I met him at a jazz camp i did in Springfield, MO. Hes a heck of a bass player and a nice guy too

Smokin'! But dare I say overplaying? I guess it's the style of what they're doing and it's groovy as hell for sure but he's really doing a lot of stuff there. Like i said at first though SMOKIN'! And I know that when you play with Weckl you probably can't overplay.

He's definitely playing a lot of notes, but I don't get the feeling that he's overplaying. But really that's too much a subjective term to really discuss at any length.

I love Tom's playing AND his tone is awesome! I've tried to nail something similar, but I can't get anything so fat yet clear.... ah well.
