David Brown (Santana) - anyone know anything about him?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been listening to a lot of songs from the first three albums, and I really love the basslines of David Brown, aswell as his tone. I have gathered from watching the Woodstock video that he uses a P bass into an Acoustic 360, but not much else. Does he use flats or wounds? Does anybody know of any good books or websites about him or his playing? Anyone know of his influences? Aswell as any other info?

Thanks, xifr.
