is that flat tone caused by the low fi recording or is that just what accugrooves sound like?

i have never heard an accugroove before so i had nothing to compare that clip to.

| | | | Guys.... OK one more time.... when you hear a clip like that recorded 'live', it is highly unlikely that the backline rig EVER has anything to do with the sound. The bass tone for these types of performances (and live 'concert' sound) is almost always direct. |

I'm sure the original broadcast sounded fine whatever the source of the signal.
A little too trebly for my taste, but considering he's all thwackity-poppity, I'm guessing he wasn't going for a Jamerson-esque tone. |
