David LaBruyere props

I'm just sitting here listening to John Mayer's Any Given Thursday and I've got to give MAD props to David LaBruyere. Wow. His work especially in the '83 Medley is just so amazing. This is the kind of bass player I aspire to be.

And btw, I love Pino, but DeLa and JM fit together SO well. So sad we won't be hearing any more of that.

Always liked David's playing and tone.

Wonder why he and Mayer parted company?

There was some talk in another thread that it wasn't DeLa's choice. Considering how JM comes across, this sounds believable.

Check out DeLa's work on Dave Barnes' What We Want, What We Got. Much more subtle than his work with JM, but still tasty. Really nice record.
