I'm sure many of you are familiar with this, but today is the first time I've heard this artist. That beat is so ugly (in a good way).

Who was the bassist featured on these tracks? Love that sound... treble rolled off (flats maybe?)...a touch of overdrive.... perfect tone. Sounds like my old frankenjazz with a Trace pre thru my old Bergantino NV610. Just filthy.
