Can't find much info on Dean Felber from Hootie & The Blowfish but I like the tone he gets on fretted and fretless. Anyone know what gear he uses?

He used to play Warwick Thumb basses, but i don't know what amps he played.

For a long time (maybe still, but I haven't seen any thing in the last couple of years) he was using Eden amps and D410XLT cabinets, for both electric and double bass.

The one live performance I saw was with a Warwick Thumb 4-string and an SWR rig; I think a Triad cab on the bottom and a Goliath 4x10 on top. Don't know which head.
Probably didn't record with the Warwick, though; at least not on the first album. "Hold My Hand" has more of a Fender-y sound.
