It's my all-time favorite rockumentary.
I especially like the scenes that feature Nigel Teufnal - these go to 11, large bread, where he plays "Mach" on the piano, etc. |

The bigger the cushion, the sweeter the pushin'
That's what I said
The looser the waistband, the deeper the quicksand
Or so I have read
My baby fits me like a flesh tuxedo
I'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo
Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about bum cakes, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?
I met her on Monday, twas my lucky bun day
You know what I mean
I love her each weekday, each velvety cheek day
You know what I mean
My love gun's loaded and she's in my sights
Big game is waiting there inside her tights, yeah
Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about mud flaps, my girl's got 'em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind

How could I leave this behind? | In and right after high school I played in a band which covered this song and I sang it. I remember we played at a community pool party there were a bunch of ladies in their 40s and 50s sitting right in front of us and I was singing this. I backed off the mic quite a bit.
We also played "Rock And Roll Creation". We were at a big graduation party for our own class. Think of that, you're playing in what is by a very large margin the best band in the school (not really meaning to toot my own horn, but I'm not big on false modesty - we absolutely kicked ass.) at one of the biggest graduation parties of the senior class. It's one of your best performances - everyone in the band is ON. The crowd is absolutely loving every song, reacting very positively. And then "Rock And Roll Creation". That was a rowdy fun crowd for every song, but after that song, dead silence. After about three seconds, one guy shouted "That song effing sucked!" but he didn't say "eff" he said the real word. Me and George our guitar player and Jim the drummer were in stitches. George could barely stand. We had a hard time starting the next song we were laughing so hard.
Thing is "Rock and Roll Creation" is really tough to pull off and we had to put a LOT of work into it. All for nothing but a joke for our own amusement. Ahh.... Gotta love high school....
