Did Allen Woody use a pick, fingers or both?

Did Allen Woody use a pick or fingers for the majority of his playing with the Mule? Its hard to tell if he plays really fast with his fingers or if he is using a pick. Either way he's got a great tone.

I saw Allen Woody live twice. First time with Gov't Mule in Macon, Georgia, at GABBAfest '97 - wow. Second time with the ABB in Knoxville, TN.

with Mule and the ABB, he usually used a pick, but I have seen some of their clips where he played with his fingers. In his earlier gigs, he played mostly fingerstyle and slapped some.

I have his Starlicks video and he said that he mainly uses a pick but sometimes uses his fingers.

When he's playing fingerstyle as often as not he's using a thumb like a pick and his index finger...but sometimes he used his index and middle fingers.
