Hey. Just wanted to let everyone know that Bass Player Magazine is going to do a feature story on Alex Katunich (AKA Dirk Lance).

It's due to be in the November issue which should come out in late October.

He's interviewing today. YAY!

Later.

A friend of mine who spends a lot of time with him said that the article is being pushed back to the January issue, which will be released in December. They interviewed for over 4 hours and it should be a great article.

You know what this means, right.......

WE GET DIRK FOR CHRISTMAS!!!

Are you sure it's Bass Player? I have the Nov 06 issue in my hands right now. Pino Palladino on the cover. Feature on Edgar Mayer. No Dirk. Dou you mean Guitar World's Bass Guitar?

Seriously, he's Alex' evil twin. He's also the original bassist for Incubus.

Pino on the cover again? Not to be dissing the man, quite the contrary, but I still recall a Pino cover not that long ago..

Nay, the funkiest is on Enjoy Incubus, their EP before S.C.I.E.N.C.E. -- it's just down and dirty funk. That said, S.C.I.E.N.C.E. is a fantastic album as well!
