Do you think....

That there are any "famous" bassist who use/look at this forum?
When I say "Famous" I mean someone like Wooten or Miller, someone of thier status.
Would be nice to hear from them on the things that are talked about...

They're probably busy working on their playing and not browsing a forum. This may be the reason they're famous and we are not.

Jean Baudin or StewMac are the two i can think of, not quite the status of miller or wooten, but both are pretty well known among the bass world.

Actually Marcus Miller is the reason I joined TB. I saw him at a bass clinic and hesuggested that everyone who wasn't already a member to check it out. He had good things to say about TB. Whether or not he's a member or if he visits frequently? I dont know.

Mike Watt was the reason I joined... though he has since left. Mark White of the Spin Doctors has posted a few times and cliniced at a TB GTG. Eric Grossman is pretty busy and visits often too.

Fame is relative... but Tony Grey, George Porter Jr, Janek Gwizdala, Hadrien Feraud, Todd Smallie, and Dave Meros have been known to lurk, visit and some even post.

On another note, do you think they use other's sig. basses? Like Wooten using Miller's bass or vice versa?

It's late, leave me alone, I think about this stuff :-P

I was going to those two. Also, Jay Terrien and Trip Wamsley make an appearance from time to time.

Brian Ritchie from the Violent Femmes is a member here, and has posted occasionally.
