Does flea play trumpet?

He played trumpet before bass, he only picked up bass at age 17, and recently he's started playing guitar.

And I believe he plays Horn on Jane's Addiction's "Nothing's Shocking" album, and he also appears onstage live with JA frequently, most notably in the video for "Jane Says", and at JA's "comeback" gig towards the end of last year.

Yeah ditto. I've yet to see them live, and it's not clear in the "Jane Says" video because Avery appears to be nowhere in sight.
